What They Do

DataDoe sits between your Amazon accounts and whatever AI or tooling you already use. It pulls Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads into one normalized schema, keeps that data in sync, and exposes it through an MCP server, a REST API and BigQuery. When you allow it, the same connection can write back to Amazon: repricing, listing edits, PPC changes and order actions, each previewed and approved before it runs.

In DataDoe’s own words: “DataDoe is the Amazon data and action layer for AI. It unifies Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads into one clean schema, then lets the AI you already use read that data and act on your account.”

Capabilities

01

One schema across Seller, Vendor and Ads

Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Ads are normalized into 100+ tables: orders, settlements, fees, FBA inventory, listings, Buy Box, search terms, campaigns, Brand Analytics and Vendor data. One question can join ads, orders and search terms without a warehouse project first.

02

MCP, REST API and BigQuery on one endpoint

Any client that speaks MCP or REST connects to the same layer. DataDoe publishes setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Codex and GitHub Copilot, plus n8n, spreadsheets and your own apps. There is no separate MCP tier and no per-tool fee.

03

Approval-gated write-back to Amazon

Through Actions, a connected AI can reprice SKUs, edit listings and images, add negative keywords, adjust PPC, confirm shipments and cancel orders. Every write is previewed, approval-gated and recorded in an audit log. Writes are off by default.

04

Unlimited Amazon accounts on one plan

Connections are not billed per account. A seller running several marketplaces, or both Seller Central and Vendor Central, pays the same base price.

05

History past Amazon’s API windows

The first sync backfills up to two years of history, and data is retained afterwards so trends can be tracked beyond the short windows Amazon’s own APIs expose.

06

Daily sync with near real-time ads and orders

Tables sync daily, with most ready within hours. Ads and order updates arrive near real-time via Amazon Marketing Stream and SP-API notifications.

07

Agency operations suite

A multi-client portfolio view, prebuilt reports for P&L, PPC, inventory health, returns, reimbursements, search performance and account health, plus scheduled client reports delivered to inbox or Slack.

08

Amazon-audited security

DataDoe states it passed Amazon’s Public PII audit and renews it annually. Access is per person with MFA, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you choose which tables are stored and for how long.

Who Builds It

DataDoe is built by Deltologic, a marketplace technology agency founded in Berlin in 2020 with an engineering hub in Poznań, Poland and a team of about 30 engineers. Deltologic publishes that it has shipped 150+ marketplace solutions, from Top 20 Amazon sellers to Fortune 500 companies, and that it is an Amazon Selling and Ads Partner. DataDoe shipped in 2025 as the productized version of the data layer Deltologic kept rebuilding for clients.

The team’s stated origin, from its about page: “Amazon’s APIs return rate-limited, asynchronous, fragmented data. Joining ads with orders takes a real engineering team. Cleaning it for AI takes more. Every client paid for the same plumbing, just with a different brand name on top.”

Why It Is In Our Stack

On 11 August 2026 we retired our direct Amazon SP-API and Ads API connections and made DataDoe the sole data provider behind the Eleviam dashboard, nightly ingest, monitoring and warehouse. The reason was operational. Our own SP-API pull had died on an expired client credential and, on inspection, one of its tables had been stale for three months before anyone noticed. Running three fragile pipelines was the problem. One provider with one schema was the fix.

What it looks like day to day: a single nightly run issues eight exports that cover every brand we manage, the dashboard reads the warehouse those exports fill, and freshness and integrity checks run against it every morning. When a new client is onboarded, the pipeline does not change.

What We Learned Running It

Operator notes from our own migration, August 2026. These are observations from one account at one point in time, not a review of the product.

01

Cost follows exports, not accounts

DataDoe meters export creation (about two AI tokens per export in our account) and read-only calls are free. One export can cover every connected seller, so our nightly pull runs eight exports across all brands and the bill does not grow when a client is added. We verified this on 2026-08-11 with three sellers returned in a single export.

02

Backfill depth varies by source

When we onboarded in August 2026, ads history came back at roughly 60 days, organic ranks at 21 days, inventory at one day and settlements at 365 days. Our own warehouse holds more history than DataDoe can re-supply, so we treat our warehouse as the archive.

03

New-to-brand is campaign grain only

None of the ASIN-level DataDoe sources carry per-ASIN new-to-brand. The metric exists at campaign level. Do not allocate it across ASINs.

04

Pick the right ads table for totals

The ads-by-ad-group source covers Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display only, so using it for totals understates spend. We take totals from the campaign-by-date performance source and join placement data for new-to-brand and detail page views. A back-test against known-good data caught this before a single row was written.

Best For

  • Agencies running many Seller Central accounts who want one schema and per-client views without a warehouse project
  • Operators who want Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to answer questions from live Amazon data
  • Teams that build their own dashboards and automations on n8n, BigQuery or custom apps
  • Hybrid sellers on both Seller Central and Vendor Central
  • Anyone who wants approval-gated write-back instead of manual Seller Central edits
